Thank you God for our Children

On the 29th October our Children’s Church officially starts. We thank God for the children and families joining us and helping us to make this happen. We have been praying for more children and God is answering our prayers. We thank God that Karyn has been led by God to lead this Children’s Ministry. Children are valued and significant members of the church for today. (NOW!)

Jesus welcomed children and wanted them to be included. Deuteronomy 6:4-9 says of God’s commandments: Impress them on your children, talk about them as you go about your daily routines. Make them visible as constant reminders.

We want to be a church where every child knows they matter to God and that they feel valued, welcomed and have a sense of belonging here. Children are nurtured most effectively in communities where they feel a sense of belonging, where they are able to participate in its life and ministry and where adult members model a vital faith.

Children’s Church involves preparing spaces and resources before the church service and tidying up afterwards. Let’s make sure their teachers do not miss out on some of the fun and fellowship we enjoy after the service.

Let’s pray for Karyn and her team, inspiring them to be inspirational and innovative, and that this vital ministry of our church will blossom and grow. Let’s get to know the names of our children and their parents.
